F.IT increases the proportion of women in Bremen’s IT sector by bringing together vacancies in companies and women looking for work. The special thing about it: We do not require women to have an academic degree or university entrance qualification, quite the opposite. Basically, we offer all women suitable access into IT sector. For example, long-term unemployed women, women with a migration background and women who want to change the sphere of their occupation.
We are your right decision, if you ...
- ... want to increase the proportion of women in your team.
- ... have difficulties in filling vacancies.
- ... would like to provide us details of your daily recruiting routine for our scientific research carried out alongside the project.
Benefiting from each other
All you have to do is to register on our F.ITranet without any obligation. This only takes a few minutes. You can indicate there, for example, whether you would like to participate in one of our workshops or whether you can provide workplaces for interested women. Your information will enable us to provide you suitable ideas and questions already at the first contact.
01
Can we participate even if we are not an IT company?
We welcome all companies, which want to participate in our project. You do not have to be an absolute IT company. It is sufficient, for example, if you have an in-house IT department or offer IT-related occupational profiles (e.g. e-commerce clerks, media designers, etc.).
02
Why should I participate in F.IT?
Many IT companies are unsuccessful in their search for skilled employees. We want to help companies in Bremen to solve this problem. On the one hand, by bringing together interested women and employers looking for them. On the other hand, by developing activities via project-accompanying research, which contribute to increasing the proportion of women in IT sector nationwide.
